Гетти, Арч

Джон Арчибальд Гетти III (англ. John Archibald Getty, III; род. 30.11.1954, Луизиана) — американский историк, профессор Калифорнийского университета в Лос-Анжелесе. Его относят к представителям ревизионистской школы в советологии.

Биография

Вырос в Оклахоме. Окончил Пенсильванский университет (бакалавр искусств, 1972). Степень доктора философии получил в 1979 году в Бостонском колледже. До перехода в Калифорнийский университет в Лос-Анджелесе был профессором Калифорнийского университета в Риверсайде.

Автор биографии Н. И. Ежова «Время и жизнь Н. И. Ежова» (Yale University Press, 2008).
